الفعل حفر في اللهجة الحضرمية: دراسة تحليلية مقارنة

يمثل هذه البحث دراسة لغوية تحليلية مقارنة للفعل حفر. حيث حصرت الدراسة عددًا من معاني اللفظ "ح ف ر" في النقوش الحضرمية، من بينها ورد بصيغة الفعل "ح ف ر" بمعنى "حَفَرَ" وورد كذلك بعدد من المعاني الأخرى منها "ق ل ب، ق ط و، ن ب ط، ن ق ب". وفي إطار الدراسة المعجمية المقارنة بين النقوش السبئية والمعينية والقتبانية تنتهي الدراسة إلى ظهور هذا اللفظ بالمعنى نفسه. وأوضحت الدراسة ارتباط هذا الفعل في النقوش الحضرمية بالمعاني الخاصة بالبناء والزراعة والأعمال المدنية حيث جاء في النقوش المتعلقة بالماء والري (إنشاء القنوات)، وبناء المدن. وتأتي كلمة حفر في اللغة العربية بمعنى حَفَرَ الشيء، أي أحدث فيه تجويفًا.    
واتبعت الدراسة المنهج التحليلي المقارن. وخلصت الورقة البحثية إلى أن هذا المعنى للفعل "حفر" من المعاني المهمة في النقوش الحضرمية. حيث ورد المعنى "حفر" في النقوش الحضرمية بعدد من المفردات.
This paper focus is a comparative analytical linguistic examination of the verb “Ḥ F R” (ḥafra) in Ḥaḍhrami inscriptions. The study seeks to discover and investigate the different meanings linked with this verb, specifically its use as “to dig,” as well as its appearance in other contexts such as “Qalb”, “Qaṭu”, “Nabṭ”, and “Naqb”.
The study also compares the usage of this verb in Ḥaḍhrami inscriptions to its occurrence in Sabean, Mainean, and Qatabanian inscriptions, highlighting any similarities or differences in meaning.
After a thorough examination of the linguistic data, the study indicates that the verb “Ḥ F R” in Hadhrami inscriptions constantly means “to dig”. Furthermore, the study shows that this verb is associated with concepts relating to construction, agriculture, and civil activities. It appears in inscriptions related to water management and irrigation projects, such as canal construction and city development. The verb “Ḥ F R” originates in Arabic and refers to digging something, i.e. making a cavity.
The study adopted a comparative analytical methodology. The research stated that the meaning of the verb “Ḥ F R” (to dig) was significant in Hadhrami inscriptions. The word “Ḥ F R” frequently cited in Hadhrami inscriptions with a variety of meanings.
