On behalf of the editorial and administrative boards of JAT-MUST and the Misr University for Science and Technology, we are proud to present the Journal of Archaeology and Tourism (JAT) Journal (a Semi-annual peer-reviewed journal issued by the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourism Guidance, Misr University for science and Technology (MUST).
JAT-MUST is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal published twice a year. The focus of the JAT-MUST is various aspects of ancient Egyptian, Islamic and Coptic Archaeology, Conservation, Museology, Tourism, and Heritage. It aims to publish new and serious contributions to the increase of knowledge or the enhancement of scholarly interpretation.
JAT-MUST is an open-access journal with free fees. Thus, it contributes to the enlargement of knowledge or the advancement of scholarly interpretation.
In addition to the main scope of the JAT-MUST Journal with traditional various aspects of ancient Egyptian, Islamic, and Coptic archaeology, conservation, museology, tourism, and heritage, it encourages interdisciplinary contributions with archaeology and tourism. It accepts contributions that are interlocked with archaeology and tourism such as the history of architecture, history of art, ancient epigraphy, IT apps, GIS, anthropology, laser apps, Nano-tech, remote sensing, tourism, heritage ...
