رباط أَزْدَمُر بمنطقة باب الوزير بالقاهرة 900-909هـ/1494-1503م دراسة آثارية معمارية مقارنة THE RIBAT OF IZDMUR IN THE BAB AL-WAZIR QUARTER AT CAIRO (900-909 H/1494-1503 CE): A COMPARATIVE ARCHITECTURAL, AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL STUDY

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة لأحد العمائر الدينية فى العصر المملوكى الجركسى ، ذلك العصر الذى ازدهرت فيه حركة العمارة الإسلامية فى القاهرة ، وتطورت طرزها ، وتباينت أنماطها المعمارية والزخرفية ، وهو عبارة عن رباط يعرف باسم "رباط أزدمر" ، خُصص لإيواء الصوفية أو الفقراء وإقامتهم ، وتبرز أهمية البحث فى توضيح العلاقة بين منشأة كانت قائمة بالفعل ، تُؤَدى فيها الأغراض الوظيفية ، ممثلة فى الرباط موضع البحث ، وبناء آخر بني بجواره مباشرة ، يزخر بحشد كبير من العناصر المعمارية والزخرفية مع ضخامة فى البناء ، ممثلاً فى مجمع معمارى كبير لأحد الأمراء ، الذين كان لهم شأن كبير فى عهد السلطان قنصوه الغورى 906-922هـ/1501-1516م ، مما أدى إلى الاهتمام بتلك المجموعة البنائية ، وانحسار أهمية الرباط المعمارية والوظيفية ، وعدم ذكره فى المصادر التاريخية والدراسات العلمية الحديثة.
This research spot light on one of the religious architecture in the Circassian Mamluk era when the Islamic architecture flourished in Cairo, its styles developed, and its architectural and decorative patterns varied. This religious architecture is “Ribat Azdmur”, where determined to house the poor and the sophists. The research’s importance is clarifying the relationship between a facility that already existed, represented in the Ribat, and another building built directly next to it, represented in a large architectural complex for one of the princes. These princes had a great importance during the reign of Sultan Qansuh al-Ghuri 906-922 AH / 1501-1516 AD. Thus, led to the interest in that building group, the decline in the importance of architectural and functional Ribat, and dismissing its mention in historical sources and modern scientific studies.
